We automatically collect:

3. Information Sharing and Disclosure
3.1 Public Information
Your reviews, ratings, nickname, and profile picture are publicly visible to all Rentalk users. Your email address and phone number are never publicly displayed.

- Firebase/Google Cloud: Authentication, database, storage, and hosting
- Google Maps: Location services and mapping
- Expo: Mobile app development and push notifications
3.3 Legal Requirements

3.4 Business Transfers

- Profile Picture: Upload, change, or delete your profile picture at any time
- Reviews: Edit or delete your reviews from the My Reviews screen

You can control notification preferences in the Account screen, including review notifications and marketing emails.
5.3 Location Permissions
You can enable or disable location access through your device settings. Disabling location may limit some app features.
5.4 Data Access and Portability
You can request a copy of your data by contacting us at privacy@rentalk.app. We will provide your information in a structured, commonly used format.
5.5 Account Deletion
You can request account deletion through the Account screen or by contacting support. Upon deletion:
- Your account and personal information will be permanently deleted
- Your reviews will be anonymized (not deleted, to preserve community data)
- Your profile picture and identifiable information will be removed
- This action cannot be undone

6. Children's Privacy
Rentalk is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we discover that a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, we will promptly delete it.

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States where our servers are located. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
